Lyons Mite Boys open up with a convincing win over Metter

The Lyons Mites Boys played three innings of strong defense and for two frames they were potent offensive team in a 12-0 three inning win over Metter in the Lyons Youth Tournament. Metter stroked only one hit and Lyons recorded nine outs without making an error.

On offense the home town boys didn’t score in the first inning and then they started hitting in the second. Brock Nobles stroked the first and last hit in a nine hit, eight run inning. Gage Brantley, Cameron Harris and Hunter Barwick all provided RBI singles to the rally and Trayvonne Harris drove in three runs with one swing. The third baseman hit a majestic home run over the left center field fence at Field 2.
