
The Lyons Flea Boys entered the bottom of the first inning trailing Glennville 6-0 in their first game of the Lyons Youth Tournament. The Boys quickly overcame that deficit and they surged into the lead with a 12 run first inning and a nine run second allowing the 8 and under team to win 21-9 in 2 1/2 innings.
Every batter in the 11 man starting lineup had at least one hit and as Lyons racked up 21 in the game. Brittan Tabor went 2-for-3, Slade McDonald 3-for-3, Tyson Brantley 2-for-3 with a triple, Tucker Braddy 2-for-3, Ryder Sears 3-for-3 with a double and a triple, M.J. Burton 1-for-3, Trevor White 1-for-3, Brody Randall 1-for-3, Jayce Taylor 2-for-2 with a triple, Clay Conner 2-for-2 and Russ Furr 2-2 with a triple.
Lyons will play on Friday at 2 p.m. on Y-101 Radio and Mixlr.
