Entering the bottom of the fourth inning the Toombs County Bulldogs trailed Telfair County 8-2 and it was hot. Really, really hot. And some of the Bulldogs were really tired after conditioning workouts earlier in the day. But, the Dawgs didn’t give up, instead they rallied and pulled out a 15-12 seven inning summer ball victory.

Brandon Helton and Lane Adams lead the offense with three hits each. Adams started off the fourth inning scoring with a RBI single. Bryce Deloach, Dalton Lynn and George Lucke also had RBI hits in that inning. Brock Harrison and Lynn also each scored on a wild pitch as TCHS took a 9-8 lead.

In the fifth Christian Conley, Dalton McBride, D.R. Meadows and Adams all had run scoring singles and Meadows scored on a double steal. D.R. also took the mound in the seventh and ended the game with a strikeout.
