As a Toombs County Lady Bulldog, Victoria Jordan always had the ability to make an exciting play whether she was playing offense or defense. On Saturday she wrapped up her freshman season of playing softball for ABAC making a game-saving, game-ending catch. Here was the situation. ABAC was leading it’s season-ending game 5-4 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning. The home team, East Georgia, had the tying runner on second when a dangerous, deep fly ball was hit down the left field line. Victoria ran it down and caught it, a step into fair territory, to end the game. Watch a slideshow

The victory stopped an eight-game losing streak and allowed the Fillies to end the season with their 13th (13-23) victory of the season. Victoria had a base hit in the first game and walked in the second. Jordan started off the season going 0-for-18. However, she rebounded and went 15-for-50 (.300) over her next 18 games.
