The Toombs County Bulldogs were late getting on the football field for their first spring practice under new head coach Richie Marsh because of a brief rain storm. However, once they got on the field Coach Marsh was pleased with the way they handled day one, “Just very impressed with the buy in of the kids. Them believing in the scheme and the things we asked them to do.” Listen to a post practice interview with coach Marsh with a slideshow on YouTube
The Bulldogs did board drills and worked in groups with the wide receivers running routes against air and then later against the defensive backs. The quarterbacks worked on hand offs and throwing prior to some 11-on-11 action. The line did individual drills against blocking dummies before they got some real action against their teammates.
