Day 5 TCHS spring practice- the heat is on

After spending Thursday in the gym due to lightening and rain, the Toombs County Bulldog football team was greeted with the warmest day so far. Six TCHS track athletes are going to GHSA State Sectionals

Six Toombs County High School track athletes survived the Region 1 AAA track meet, at Southeast Bulloch High School, and have qualified for the GHSA State Sectionals at the same site on Saturday, April 30. Temperature and intensity rise on the second day of TCHS spring football practice

On Monday, the second day of spring practice for the Toombs County Bulldogs, the temperature was higher than on day one, on Friday, and the intensity was noticeably higher. The emphasis for the defense was to run to the ball and if everybody didn’t, the punishment was five up-downs. Some of the highlights of the practice included an interception by Rakewon Powell and very determined run by Keshawn Morgan.

The conditions were favorable for low times at the 2016 Vidalia Onion Run held on a  party cloudy to cloudy Saturday morning with a race temperature of in the mid to upper 60’s. TCMS Bullpups make plays on offense and defense in their spring scrimmage

The Toombs County Middle School Bullpups wrapped up their two weeks of spring football practice with a scrimmage game at Booster Stadium. The Pups proved that they were good listeners and learners as they executed on offense and made plays on defense.
