In a home win over Reidsville last Thursday, the Toombs County Middle School Bullpups rallied twice, from a 5-0 deficit to tie and 6-5, to win. In a rematch in Reidsville, Toombs County trailed 4-1 going to the top of the fourth. TCMS scored three runs to tie and then Reidsville countered by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull out an 8-4 victory in five innings. The game was called early due to darkness.
Toombs County out hit Reidsville 5-to-2, but the Bullpups made seven errors and Reidsville only made one. Leadoff hitter Alex Gordy paced the TCMS offensive attack going 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Bryce Braddy went 1-for-2 with a walk and Derrion Harris was 1-for-2. Dalton Edenfield pitched three innings and allowed only one hit with three strike outs.
