Junior guard D.R. Meadows opened the 2015-16 Toombs County Bulldog season scoring 27 points in a home game against Montgomery County and he closed the the regular season tossing in 26 at Southeast Bulloch. Meadows scored the first eight Bulldog points, dropped in a season-high six 3-pointers and hit 6-of-8 at the free throw line in the Bulldogs 71-62 loss in Brooklet.

The Bulldogs made 11 3-pointers. Andre Clark hit three and scored nine points and Tyrese Lewis made two and scored six. Keshawn Morgan made 7-of-10 free throws and also scored nine points, Jalen Mobley added eight and Alex Dillard was 4-for-4 at the line and scored four.

The 4-21 Bulldogs will get a second shot at 14-13 SEB. The two teams will meet in the first round of the Region 1 AAA Tournament at Islands High School, in Savannah, on Monday.
