Cruz Arredondo, Ricardo Santana, Justin Hall, Nathan Belch and Ervin Mincey have all won their first two matches at the GHSA Class 3A -A Sectional in Madison and have qualified for the state tourney.
Gage Clark, Sebastian McKee, Deven Matthews, Luke Anderson and Carson Roberts are all 1-1 and will have to move through the consolation bracket to qualify for state.
Jonathan Quintero has been eliminated from the tourney.

106 pounds- freshman Cruz Arredondo (48-4)- Cruz won his first two matches on Friday with a first round pin and a 20-11 score. On Saturday, in the semifinals, he will face sophomore Devin Mullinax (Banks County) (33-3)
113 pounds- freshman Ricardo Santana (43-4)- Ricardo won his first two matches with bye and a second round pin. In the semifinals he will take on junior Hector Torres (Jackson County) (13-3).
120 pounds- sophomore Gage Clark (37-12)- Gage lost 9-5 and won with a second round pin in the consolation round. Next Clark will go up against Kevin Arias (Dawson County) (17-7).
126 pounds- junior Sebastian McKee (33-19)- Sebastian lost by a second round pin and won by a second round pin in the consolation round. Next McKee will take on junior Eugenio Manilla (West Hall) (22-13)
132 pounds- junior Justin Hall (29-14)- Justin won his first two matches with two second round pins. In the semifinals Hall goes up against senior Tanner Thurmond (Jefferson) (40-0).
138 pounds- junior Deven Matthews (37-20)- Deven moved through the first round on a bye and then lost in the second round on a technical decision. In the consolation round Matthews will face junior Cole Hopkins (Lumpkin County) (22-20).
145 pounds- junior Luke Anderson (34-11)- Luke lost by a second round pin and then won 11-6 in the consolation round. Next Anderson will meet junior Carter Hopkins (Lumpkin County) (35-12).
152 pounds- junior Carson Roberts (27-9)- Carson won with a second round pin and lost 16-14 in the second round. Next Roberts will be matched up against junior Dalton Brannon (Appling County) (24-12).
160 pounds- senior Nathan Belch (45-10)- Nathan won with a first round pin and a 13-3 decision. In the semifinals Belch takes on senior Chris Couch (Oconee County) (41-6).
220 pounds- sophomore Ervin Mincey (38-16)- Ervin won with a first and a second round pin. In the semifinals Mincey will go up against junior Dalton Sikes (Oconee County) (44-7).
