2014-15 Toombs County Kids Wrestling Season

Toombs County first grader Tyson Brantley led a large group of local wrestlers at the Georgia Kids State Championship staged on 36 mats in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Tyson advanced to the championship round and lost a tough match 7-5. In the waining moments, with the score tied at 5-5, Tyson took his opponent down to the mat. However, the move was not awarded two points by the officials. Then with just seconds remaining Tyson was brought down to the mat and a take down was awarded. Slideshow
