The Toombs County Lady Bullpup softball season ended with a 10-2 MGMSAA first round playoff loss at J.R. Trippe. The Lady Chiefs scored five runs in the sixth to end the game one inning early. Watch a slideshow

Seventh grader Ashtyn Braddy went 2-for-2 with a walk. The TCMS pitcher singled to right field in the first inning and stole second base. In the third inning she reached on an infield hit down the third base line and drove in a run which tied the game at 2.

Braddy ended the 12-game season with a .666 batting average going 20-for-30. In her last six games she went 13-for-17 hitting .764. Ashtyn went 1-for-2 against West Laurens, 3-for-4 versus J.R. Trippe, 4-for-4 against East Laurens, 1-for-2 with a walk against Dodge County,  2-for-3 versus Bleckly County and her 2-for-2 with a walk in the season finale in Vidalia,

The Lady Bullpup defense caught several hard hit balls. Right fielder Emma Salter snagged a line drive and infielders Ziahya Griffin and Fallon Holland also caught hard hit balls at third and second base respectively.
