The Pierce County Lady Bears brought their A-Game to Lyons- timely hitting and strong pitching- as they shutout the Toombs County Lady Bulldogs 9-0. Watch Slideshow
Amanda Powell stroked two of the Lady Bulldogs’ three hits. Taylor Hattaway had the other Lady Dawg hit. Abigail Lynn was busy at short fielding grounders, snagging a liner and making a fine catch, in the outfield grass, with her back to home plate.
Powell also made a leaping catch at second base and Aisa Shipman made a diving grab in right field. The Lady Bulldogs are 5-6.
