The Toombs County volleyball team opened the 2015 season with a third place finish at the Chatham County Open. Savannah Arts and Islands finished first and second respectively. Southeast Bulloch placed fourth.

The Net Dawgs opened beating Johnson (Savannah) in straight sets. TCHS lost to Savannah Arts in two sets and then reeled off two straight victories edging host Windsor Forest 2-1 and sweeping SEB 2-0. The Net Dawgs lost to Islands 2-1 in their fifth and final match of the one-day tournament.

The Net Dawgs will play host to the first event at the new Toombs County High School Gym on August 20. West Laurens will be the opponent and the varsity only action will begin at 5.

Last season TCHS swept West Laurens both home and away. However, the matches were very close. Toombs won 25-19, 19-25 and 26-24 on the road and 25-23 and 25-21 at home. Watch Last season’s highlights
