The Toombs County High School competition cheerleading team is very excited about their 2015 season. The Cheer Dawgs did a lot of conditioning during the summer and attended multiple camps. The girls have improved their tumbling in fact they are now a full tumbling team.

Another exciting aspect of the new season is their new facilities at the new Toombs County High School. After years of sharing the Toombs County Middle School Gym with Cheer Pups and other sports and activities, the Cheer Dawgs have their own “cheer room”. A large room with a high ceiling and soon it will have mirrors so they can see what they are doing whle they are doing it.

Also, the Cheer Dawgs will play host to a competition on October 31, the week before region, at the new TCHS Gym- which has plenty of room and seats plus a vastly improved sound system compared to the TCMS Gym.

Listen as junior Bricyn Fitzgerald and senior Emily Banks discuss the upcoming season.
